Processing

Processing our beans and pulses
Kyaw Kyaw Htun operations are in Industrial Zone 1, South Dagon Township, Yangon. The waterways and trees of the industrial zone are part of a natural system that cools the district and adds to the easy transition from the peace and quiet of the rural areas.
This is the point of farmer and processor exchanges. The road system on the outskirts of Yangon provides easy access for the trucks full of the produce to reach the Industrial zone.
On our premises, we take great care to ensure the site is clean using pest control and cleaning services.
We have proper disposal of waste and sanitary water storage. We invest in pest control and surveillance. We have proper guidance to avoid occupational hazards.
We offer raw and processed products according to our customers’ requirements. All processed products are outsourced to a skilled processor in Yangon with whom we have a long term and strong relationship.
The processing factory is equipped with modern machines that clean, grade, sort, split, polish, and package in strong food grade polypropylene (PP) bags to ensure reuse. We can package according to customer specifications.
Our processing and production supervisor is highly trained with over 20 years’ experience. He ensures precision, perfection, and efficiency with deep knowledge of calibration, problem solving, and time management.
Warehousing
In 2010, we built three warehouses in Yangon, Aung Bann, and Sittwe to store our products. Our primary operations are at Kyaw Kyaw Htun Warehouse.
Our warehouses are clean and tidy to avoid product damage and pests. Bags are checked for potential tears and produce properly stored under natural sunlight which can kill some bacteria. All workers must hand wash before handling any products.
We also offer third-party storage. We can store pulses and beans for other companies in any of our three warehouses.

Export
We have been trading agricultural produce in Myanmar for nearly 20 years. We started with domestic trade, then border trade with neighbouring countries like Thailand and Bangladesh.

Good border relations help support this trade. We now truck using known routes through Thailand to Vietnam. We usually export 50,000 tons of ginger, turmeric fingers, fresh onions, and tamarind a year.
Then, we branched into sea trade. We use variety of shipping companies to export a wide range of products alongside pulses. Our largest markets are India, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. We also do sea trade for certain pulses to fulfil customer demand.
As well, we supply products to other exporters in Myanmar. We are skilled in all export logistics and offer exceptional customer service 24/7.
